HOW RADIOFREQUENCY WORKS
Radiofrequency treatments are suitable for all types of skin, because it does not use light-based technology. Instead, it uses electromagnetic waves to heat deep tissue, activating collagen production, shrinking enlarged pores and smoothing wrinkles.
TREATMENT PROCEDURE
Radiofrequency treatments are performed under local anaesthesia. The treated area must be completely dry to enable the magnetic waves to work properly. After the treatment the skin must be protected with sun block of SPF 50+. Radiofrequency therapy is used to eliminate pigment spots, spider veins and enlarged pores. At the same time, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, which in turn smooths wrinkles, firms up facial contours and generally rejuvenates the skin. Radiofrequency is also good for treating inflammation and acne.
