Do you long for natural lifting or are you bothered by skin blemishes? Have your skin treated with laser light. Thanks to different intensities of the laser beam we are able to treat both deeper layers of skin as well as the surface layer.
LASER rejuvenation at ASKLEPION
What lasers can do
The broad spectrum of lasers used at Asklepion smooth acne scars, soften wrinkles, rejuvenate and tighten skin by contracting collagen fibres, eliminate signs of aging like spider veins and pigment spots, and act preventatively against the first signs of sagging skin.
how to choose the LASER
You will choose the most suitable laser treatment for your particular problem after consulting a physician. In some cases, the skin can simply be gently heated to initiate regenerative processes. The skin is then slightly pink and looks well rested.
After more radical skin rejuvenation with a CO2 fractional laser, for example, you should expect a recovery period of several days. The upper layer of skin flakes off entirely, or scabs form that you must let heal. During a single sitting it is possible to treat the skin with two lasers, with one applied to the surface and the other to deeper tissue.
STAY OUT OF THE SUN
Laser treatments are not performed on tanned skin because this would lead to further pigmentation. After the procedure you must avoid intense sunlight. Use non-irritating creams with a sun protection factor of at least 50+ and temporarily avoid solariums.
Laser skin rejuvenation - frequently asked questions
When will I see the results of the laser treatment?
You will see the first results directly after healing. Skin will be softer with a more uniform colour. During the next 6 weeks new and more flexible fibres will begin to form and the effect will intensify. For a long-lasting effect it is desirable to repeat the procedure at intervals recommended by your doctor.
Right after the procedure will it be obvious that I had a laser treatment?
After the treatment we cool the treated area to prevent any possible swelling and redness. The intensity of the laser during the treatment also determined the length and course of recovery. When using low energy or intense pulsed light redness is minimal. Skin rejuvenation in most cases is an outpatient procedure that does not restrict your normal life in any way, with the exception of deep resurfacing, which produces the most radical rejuvenating effects. Always consult your dermatologist about individual procedures. She will recommend the best treatment for a new younger you.
Is laser treatment painful?
The impact of the laser beam on skin can be compared to a pinch or prick. In more sensitive people or when treating larger areas (or possibly more sensitive areas) it is better to use a local anaesthetic cream.
